About the cruise
a 2 hr boat cruise discovering the hidden corners and secrets of the maroochy river. We’ll be visiting the maroochy wetlands sanctuary for a glimpse of mother natures precious jewels such as the fiddler crab, glistening blue & black with one large orange claw. Much of the cruise is seeing the maroochy river banks in the same condition they have been for centuries, undeveloped & lined with pristine mangrove forest, majestic birds like the copper coloured brahminy kite will amaze you with their winged power. We shall glide around the wetland islands, seeing mother nature in it’s raw & unadulterated state.
***(to walk the entire wetlands 1. 8km boardwalk to the information hub, please book the eco cruise-on this nature cruise we stop for 15-20minutes due to time constraints)

our guided night vision tours are a must do experience on the sunshine coast. Come and experience what goes bump in the night with our military-grade high-definition night goggles and expert tour guide and director ray carson. People who join his walks often react with wonder and amazement when they put the goggles on and experience the night will full vision for the first time. Come and see what all the fuss is about! The tours includes a 90 minute guided exploration of the forest surrounding twin waters resort. New locations opening up weekly from noosa to grandchester and sunshine coast hinterland and beaches. Participants receive a personal set of gen #2 hd plus nvgs and head gear and an infra-red torch to wear during the tour, and are taken on a guided walk in the chosen location. An extremely popular choice for those who want to see what happens after dark in australia. What to bring: suitable clothing for the evening, and closed in footwear. Fitness level required: low
